The Bronxville School Board of Education awarded tenure to three members of the faculty, at the recommendation of Superintendent of Schools Dr. David Quattrone, during the April 19 meeting.
High school principal Ann Meyer, middle school math teacher Jennifer Oliveri and first-grade teacher Kathryn Westerheim received unanimous approval from the board. Their tenure is effective Sept. 1, 2016.
“These three educators have met the standards of a rigorous evaluation process that calls for direct observations, conferences, professional development and a review of student learning results,” Dr. Quattrone said. “Their work exemplifies our key dispositions of leadership, innovation, critical thinking and engaged citizenship. They have brought energy and dedication to their work and shown the promise of continued distinction.”
