Bronxville Union Free School District and Teachers’ Association Reach Contract Agreement

The Bronxville Union Free School District Board of Education and the Bronxville Teachers’ Association have approved a new three-year labor contract that provides financial predictability for the district in an era of restricted revenue increases.

“We are pleased that this collaborative process has allowed us to reach an agreement prior to the expiration of the current contract,” said Board of Education President Jeffrey Rohr. “The agreement balances the needs of three constituencies – our students, our teachers, and our taxpayers – and preserves the integrity of our programs to ensure our school will continue to rank among the top public schools in the United States.”
“The BTA and district administration worked together with respect and honesty to negotiate a fair contract agreement that benefits the school district, the community, and our membership,” said Bronxville Teachers’ Association President David Katz. “Most importantly, this agreement allows all of us to focus on our most important work –  providing high-quality educational experiences for the students of Bronxville.”
