I hope everyone had a very enjoyable and restful summer. Back to school is an exciting time for students and families, and as the beginning of the school year quickly approaches, we want to extend you, a warm welcome back to school. Chartwells K12 and Bronxville UFSD are eager to welcome you and your students back to the school café with new flavors, events, food and wellness education that will surely inspire a healthy and fun 2026-2027 school year! My team and I look forward to delivering smiles to our students’ faces, through safely providing delicious and nutritious meals.

New Menus and Café Spaces

Chartwells K12 Bronxville chefs and dietitians have been hard at work testing and developing a fresh, new menu for the coming school year designed specifically for Bronxville students that includes a wide variety of healthy and delicious options. These menus were created using student input from surveys, tastings and everyday conversations as well as local food trends, flavors and produce. Menu items include:

● Organic and locally sourced, poultry
● Organic and locally sourced beef
● Ethically raised, hormone and antibiotic free beef and pork
● Premium all natural deli products that have no artificial ingredients and are minimally processed
● Local and Organic produce when available
● Organic snack options available daily
● Organic yogurt products
● Humane Farm Animal Care (HFAC) certified cage-free shell eggs and follow policies developed with guidance from experts at the Humane Society
● Serves only fresh fluid milk and fresh yogurt from cows free of the artificial growth hormones rBGH/rBST.

Dietitian’s Corner

We are looking forward to bringing back our fun and inspiring ‘Discovery Kitchen’ food focus program. This program is centered around student participation and education. Implemented by Bronxville’s Chef, Dietitian and foodservice staff aimed to bring a fun and inspiring sense of food discovery right to our café. Discovery Kitchen themes to anticipate for this year include: Plant Power, Power Your Performance, Seed to Table, Spice it Up, and more. 

Keep an eye out for periodic newsletters written by our Resident Dietitian, Nicole McIntyre, updating the district on ongoing foodservice news and events.

Important Payment Information!

The Café’s Online payment and information system is called Mosaic. The system features an online payment portal called www.myschoolbucks.com. Please make sure your credit card on file is up to date. You can sign up for automatic payments, if you choose, to ensure adequate money available for lunch orders. There is a fee with credit card payments on My School Bucks website. Parents may also drop off completed enrollment forms with a check attached to avoid the fee. Please make checks payable to “The Bronxville School Lunch Fund Att: Dining Services.”

Mobile Ordering, and Menus are in Your Hands

This year we are continuing with our online and mobile ordering system, Nutrislice. Nutrislice brings the power of pre-ordering, school menu, nutrition and allergen information right to the palm of your hand! In addition to nutrition information, Nutrislice tells the café menu story with real photos taken by Chartwells chefs in schools, full menu descriptions as well as important café event information through alerts. Please ‘favorite’ your school menu to receive any alerts to your phone through the app.

Pre-ordered meals at the Elementary Café are required by 9am and will be served to students in a designated area (Cafeteria). Please be sure to select the correct teacher’s name at checkout. All elementary school lunches will be freshly prepared and packaged in individual grab and go packaging based on pre-orders. 

Lunch can be pre-ordered up to 5 days in advance and until 9am the day of lunch service using Nutrislice website or app. Meals can also be cancelled for a refund up until the 9am deadline on the day of service. To cancel, sign into your Nutrislice account, click “your account”, click “order history”, click “cancel order” for the order(s) you would like cancelled, then click “apply”.

Nutrislice also lists any of the top 9 allergens for each food item if they are present. Please be sure to click on each food item if you are concerned about allergens in food. Please manually update the allergy field in your student(s) account. If you have a food allergy, please notify us.

Nutrislice is available online through smartphones and the web! Download the free Nutrislice App from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android). 

Payment Information

mySchoolBucks.com® is an on-line system that will allow you to make deposits into your student’s school meal accounts. Money deposited into mySchoolBucks.com will usually arrive at the school by the next morning.  You can set your low balance settings to remind you when it’s time to add more money, or set up recurring payments so the system will automatically add money to the account when your balance reaches the threshold you set.

To get started with MySchoolBucks

Visit www.mySchoolBucks.com and click the “REGISTER FOR A FREE ACCOUNT” button to create an account.  A confirmation email will be sent to the address you provide.  Simply follow the link included in that email and your registration will be complete.  Once you log in, you can add all your children by entering each student’s school, their name and student ID number.

1. Go to respective school home page
2. Find the “Links” menu on the bottom LEFT hand side of the screen
3. Find the “School Lunch Payments” link near the bottom of the list
4. Click on this link and follow the instructions.
5. The student's ID needed for online registration is now available via Parent Portal.

To access a student ID…..

• Log on to the Bronxville School District’s Parent Portal
• Click on your child’s name
• Scroll to the bottom of the page to find the student ID (i.e ID Padded)

** Your child’s ID may begin with leading zeros. If this is the case please remove the leading zeros when entering ID

For Example: ID Padded# 000999999 will be entered into Myschoolbucks as 999999.
