Sixth Graders Celebrate Promise Project With Fourth Grade Team-Building Event

Bronxville Middle School sixth graders participated in team-building activities with Bronxville Elementary School fourth graders on June 9, culminating their quarterlong Promise Project. Through outdoor games and collaborative activities, the students strengthened their sense of community. 

Working in groups, the students participated in collaborative games, such as Sharks and Minnows and Tag. The meaningful connections formed between the fourth and sixth graders reflected the heart of the Bronxville Promise, a core principle of the Promise Project.

“It also reminds our students that no matter how stressful the end of the school year can be, there’s always enough time to slow down, smile, laugh and lean on your teammates,” said middle school counselor Tim Nelson, who organized the event with fellow counselor Samantha Mazo.
