Bronxville Elementary School third grader Satvik Sharma has earned top honors at several prestigious and highly competitive math competitions.

Sharma earned a Gold Pin in the Mathematical Olympiads for Elementary School, an honor awarded to the top 2% of participants nationwide.

He also earned a Gold Medal for achieving a full score in RSM’s International Mathematics Competition, which is a contest in the style of European Olympiads.

In the Math Kangaroo contest, Satvik achieved a national rank of 7 and a New York State rank of 5. Among more than 60,000 students across the United States, placing in the top 10 nationally is an exceptional accomplishment.

Additionally, Sharma earned a certificate of achievement in the American Mathematics Competition 8, a contest designed primarily for middle school students in grades eight and under. He scored 16 out of 25, surpassing the 15-point threshold required for this distinction, which is awarded only to students in grade six or under.
