Bronxville Elementary News
Amid the pressures of impending New York State tests, Bronxville Elementary School third through fifth grade students have been focusing on their emotional well-being and learning strategies for success.
As the rigorous school day ended in Bronxville, a dedicated group of elementary and high school students enthusiastically remained in the building to collaborate on a variety of math challenges.
With a pair of paper glasses over their eyes, Bronxville School students looked up at the sky through their protective lenses to experience the solar eclipse firsthand on April 8.
As elementary school students gathered inside their school’s own planetarium and looked up at a simulation of the solar eclipse, the atmosphere was charged with excitement.
Bronxville Elementary School fifth graders have been actively engaged in the world of app development, analyzing apps for their functionality and purpose through App Lab on code.org.
Third through fifth grade students at Bronxville Elementary School were treated to a special cross-curricular experience when they watched the bilingual musical, “El Otro Oz,” at their school on March 14.
Bronxville Elementary School kindergartners celebrated the 100th day of school on Feb. 15 with a variety of hands-on activities to commemorate the exciting milestone. The day served as a reminder of how much they have grown and learned since September.
A group of 20 talented Bronxville School students have been selected to perform with All-County music ensembles by the Westchester County School Music Association for its 2024 festival concerts in March.
