Despite the rainy weather, Bronxville Elementary School students dressed as their favorite superheroes, cartoon characters, fairies and witches to show off their costumes in school on Oct. 30.
As part of the third annual Halloween Parade, all kindergarten through fifth grade students had the opportunity to get dressed in creative and original costumes. Separated by class to adhere to social-distancing guidelines, the students marched with their classmates and teachers from their classrooms to the school’s canopy before going back inside the building.
“We’re so glad we were able to experience a version of our Halloween tradition,” Principal Tricia Murray said. “The students really enjoyed celebrating and seeing each other on camera.”
The Halloween Parade was livestreamed on the district’s YouTube page.
