The hallways buzzed with chatter and excitement as Bronxville School teachers and administrators welcomed back students for the new 2023-2024 school year on Sept. 5. The highly anticipated day was filled with learning as students across the district – from the youngest kindergartners to high school seniors – joyfully reconnected with friends, met with teachers and engaged in different educational activities.
“The positivity and eagerness were palpable throughout the school,” Superintendent of Schools Dr. Rachel Kelly said. “We are fortunate to have each other as we embark on this journey together.”
Kindergartners had an exciting day of firsts as they introduced themselves to their teachers and developed new friendships in their classrooms. Ninth grade students teamed up with their older peers, who gave them tours of the building to help them make a smooth transition into high school.
