Bronxville Welcomes Students for 2024-2025 School Year

Bronxville School students enthusiastically returned to school on Sept. 3 when they reconnected with friends, met new teachers and engaged in a variety of educational activities. The day was filled with anticipation and joy as students embraced the start of a new academic year.

Throughout the day, the students organized their school supplies, learned about the expectations for the year, and participated in teambuilding exercises to strengthen bonds with their classmates and teachers. The kindergartners had a memorable day as they joyfully introduced themselves to their teachers and began forming new friendships within their classrooms. Meanwhile, ninth grade students teamed up with their older peers, who guided them through the building, offering tours to ensure a smooth and confident transition into high school.

“Our hallways and classrooms came alive with bustling energy as the smiles and laughter of our students marked a tremendous start to the new school year,” Superintendent of Schools Dr. Rachel Kelly said. “It’s been heartwarming to see our students being welcomed back to school by our teachers and staff. We look forward to a year full of achievements and growth and many opportunities for our Bronxville Promise to come alive both within and outside the classrooms.”
