Bronxville High School is celebrating its student-athletes during an exciting week of homecoming activities from Oct. 9-13. Homecoming week officially opened on Oct. 9 with a Battle of the Banners on the school’s front lawn, followed by a parade and bonfire on Oct. 10, while games were scheduled through Saturday.
Throughout the week, the students celebrated their school spirit by participating in a variety of activities, including the annual “B-Day” costume contest and Broncos couples contest. They also decorated their team banners, participated in the school’s pep rally and donned their team uniforms throughout the school day.
The schedule of homecoming games is as follows:
Tuesday, Oct. 9
• 3 p.m. – Girls varsity tennis conference championship (through Friday, Oct. 13) at Edgemont High School.
• 4:30 p.m. – Varsity cross-country league championship at Van Cortlandt Park.
Wednesday, Oct. 10
• 4:30 p.m. – Girls JV tennis vs. Briarcliff at Bronxville Village Courts.
Thursday, Oct. 11
• 6:30 p.m. – JV football vs. Ardsley at Chambers Field.
Friday, Oct. 12
• 4:10 p.m. – Girls varsity swim and dive senior introductions.
• 4:30 p.m. – Girls varsity swim and dive vs. Ursuline at Sarah Lawrence College.
• 4:15 p.m. – Girls JV soccer vs. Blind Brook at Chambers Field.
• 4:30 p.m. – Girls varsity volleyball vs. Mamaroneck at Mount Vernon High School.
• 5:15 p.m. – Girls varsity soccer player and parent introductions.
• 5:30 p.m. – Girls varsity soccer vs. Somers at Chambers Field.
• 7 p.m. – Boys varsity soccer player and parent introductions.
• 7:30 p.m. – Boys varsity soccer vs. Westlake at Chambers Field.
• Halftime – community pep rally at Chambers Field.
Saturday, Oct. 13
• All day – varsity cross-country Manhattan College Invitational at Van Cortlandt Park.
• 1 p.m. – JV field hockey vs. Pleasantville at Hayes Field.
• 2:30 p.m. – Varsity field hockey player and parent introductions.
• 3 p.m. – Varsity field hockey vs. Pleasantville at Chambers Field.
• 5:30 p.m. – Varsity football player and parent introductions.
• 6 p.m. – Varsity football vs. Ardsley at Chambers Field.
