Bronxville, NY

Kindergarten through fifth grade students, teachers and staff lined up along the Bronxville School track in honor of Principal Dr. Tricia Murray, who is leaving the district at the end of the school year after seven years of service. Along the parade route, the students held up signs with messages of gratitude and well wishes, presenting Dr. Murray with flowers as she walked by.

"This was such a good way to send Dr. Murray off because it showed how much we care about her and how special she has been to us as our principal,” fourth grader Natalia said. “We're going to miss Dr. Murray so much and we hope she comes back to visit us.”

Murray has been serving at the Bronxville School since 2014, overseeing instruction for nearly 700 students in grades K-5. She began her career as a mathematics and elementary school teacher.
