Kindergartners have been using their senses to observe the world and participate in various hands-on activities. They recently focused on observing parts of trees and plants in Stephanie Kennedy’s science classes. During their investigations, the students used hand lenses to observe different tree rounds and discovered how roots absorb and transport water from the ground up. The students also dissected a pumpkin to observe its parts more closely.
