Sophomores Connect With Classmates Over Lunch
Bronxville, NY

Despite being on different groups and not seeing each other in school every day, Bronxville High School sophomores found a way to connect with each other. They organized a socially distant lunch for their classmates on Oct. 22 as a way to bring everyone together.

With the support of class adviser Dana Landesman and Principal Ann Meyer, the students brought their lunches out to the field and sat on the bleachers to enjoy them and engage in conversation with friends. Sophomore class president Ted Heraty, who helped organize the outdoor lunch, said the students used a mobile app to preorder their lunch.

“The 10th grade class officers wanted to focus on bringing the class together and supporting each other during this difficult time,” Landesman said. “The students really enjoyed themselves, and as the 10th grade adviser, it made me very proud.”
