Students Dressed Up Walking at Halloween parade
Bronxville, NY

Bronxville School students participated in a variety of activities to express their creativity and celebrate Halloween.

As part of the annual parade, all kindergarten through fifth grade students dressed as their favorite characters and showed off their costumes in school on Oct. 29. Separated by class, they walked around the track with their classmates and teachers before going back to their classrooms. The Halloween Parade was livestreamed on the district’s YouTube page.

Meanwhile, as part of a longstanding tradition reserved only for seniors at Bronxville High School, members of the Class of 2022 dressed in Halloween costumes and celebrated together on the school’s front lawn. They dressed up as their favorite characters from “Sesame Street,” “Shrek,” “The Incredibles” and “Toy Story,” along with several original ideas.

Throughout the week, middle school students decorated pumpkins before displaying their final designs at the school’s front entrance on Oct. 28. They received prized in several categories, including “most artistic,” “most school spirit,” “best use of accessories” and “best use of medical tape,” among others.
