Talented Bronxville School Students to Perform at All-County Concerts

A group of 17 talented students have been selected to perform with the All-County music ensembles by the Westchester County School Music Association for its 2025 festival concerts on March 8 and 9.

  • Freshman Alexander Cebenoyan (violin) and seventh graders Zoe Fong (cello), Olivia Kao (viola) and Yuma Takeda (violin) will perform with the All-County orchestra.
  • Sixth grader Juliette Cebenoyan (violin) and fifth grader Ellie Schneider (violin) will perform with the elementary orchestra.
  • Fifth graders Elisse Sigourney and Dakota Ching, and sixth graders Mary Arbuckle and Ellie Stokes will perform with the elementary chorus.
  • Seventh grader Tobin Ziegler and freshman Annie Jaquette will perform with the intermediate chorus.
  • Sixth graders Freddy Goddard (trumpet), Benjamin Gronning (trumpet) and Luke Smith (trumpet) will perform with the elementary band.
  • Seventh grader Jacob Stein (French horn) and eighth grader Adele Zichello (flute) will perform with the intermediate band.

“They are all extremely talented and dedicated musicians, and we are so proud of their accomplishments,” said Uma Karkala, middle and high school band director and music department chairperson.

The students participated in the NYSSMA solo festival last spring and scored high marks on their solos. The band and orchestra concerts will be held on March 8 and the chorus concert on March 9 at New Rochelle High School.
