Third graders recently created their own authentic digital fairy tale books. As part of the learning experience, the students were challenged to write fairy tale adaptations to either Little Red Riding Hood or The Three Billy Goats Gruff. Once completed, they published their books using the program StoryJumper.
“The program allowed them to bring their stories to life and provide pictures, voice-recorded narration and different settings,” teacher Veronica Lindahl said. “The students were able to show off their creativity and had a lot of fun making their books. It was a positive experience.”
